Internode Pay Limited’s (“Misan”) Referral Program Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction 

The Misan Referral Program ("Promotion") is an opportunity for existing Misan users ("Referrers") to earn a referral reward ("Reward") by inviting new users ("Invitees") to sign up for a Misan account and complete specific steps. By participating in this Promotion, users agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").


2. Promotion Period

  1. The Promotion will be available for a specific period as determined by Misan (the "Promotion Period");

  2. Any Reward will only be paid if all conditions outlined in these Terms are met within the Promotion Period.

  3. Misan reserves the right to extend or modify the Promotion Period at its sole discretion


3. Eligibility

  1. The Promotion is open to all registered and prospective Misan users who have received a referral invitation.

  2. Invitees must be new users who have not previously registered for a Misan account.

  3. The Invitee must complete all required actions within the specified timeframe to qualify for the Reward in these Terms.

  4. Misan reserves the right to determine user eligibility.


4. Participation 

  1. When a user registers for a Misan account and has been successfully verified, they will be assigned a unique referral code.

  2. Existing users who have a Misan account and have been successfully verified, will also have their own referral code automatically assigned.

  3. The user ("Referrer") shall share their unique referral code with a new user who has not previously registered for a Misan Account.

  4. The referred individual ("Invitee") must sign up for a Misan account using the Referrer’s unique referral code.

  5. To qualify for the Reward, the Invitee must complete international transfers on the Misan platform totaling at least 100 CAD (Canadian Dollars) (or the equivalent in their local currency, as determined by Misan) within 30 days of signing up on the Misan platform.

  6. Upon successful verification of the Invitee’s qualifying transaction:

  • The Referrer will receive a reward of 10 CAD (or the equivalent amount in the local currency based on the country in which they are domiciled, as specified by Misan); and 

  • The Invitee will also receive a reward of 10 CAD (or the equivalent amount in the local currency based on the country in which they are domiciled, as specified by Misan).

  • All rewards are subject to verification and compliance with the terms of the Misan Referral Program.

  1. Rewards shall be credited after verification.

  2. Misan reserves the right to withhold rewards in cases of suspected fraud.


5. Referral and Invitee Requirements

  1. The Invitee must complete a qualifying transaction within 30 days of signing up.

  2. The Invitee must fund their Misan account from an external source (e.g., bank transfer, card top-up).

  3. The Invitee must make an international transfer totalling at least 100 CAD.

  4. If the Invitee reverses or cancels any required transaction, the Reward may be forfeited.

  5. The maximum number of referrals per user may be limited, and this will be communicated in-app or via email.


6. Program Rules & Restrictions

  1. Users are not permitted to create multiple accounts to gain rewards.

  2. Misan reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time.

  3. Misan may reverse any Reward if a user breaches these Terms.

  4. Fraudulent or abusive participation may result in account suspension, which shall be decided at the sole discretion of Misan. 


7. Taxes & Legal Considerations

  1. Any Reward may be subject to local income tax, and users are responsible for complying with tax obligations in their country of residence.

  2. Misan bears no liability for tax obligations arising from Rewards.


8. Amendments & Termination

  1. Misan reserves the right to modify, suspend, or end the Promotion at any time if abuse is suspected or due to unforeseen circumstances.

  2. If changes occur, Misan will notify users via email or in-app messages.

  3. Misan is not liable for losses resulting from changes, suspension, or termination of the Promotion.

10. Organisation of Promotion 

The Promotion is organised and offered by Internode Pay Limited. If you have a complaint about the Promotion, please raise it at getmisan@investbamboo.com 


11. Personal Data and Processing 

  1. Any personal data processed or controlled during the Promotion will be dealt with in line with Misan’s Privacy Policy that applies to your Misan Account. Please refer to Coin’s Privacy Policy/Notice.

  2. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to receive promotional and campaign emails from Misan. 

  3. All individuals who participate in the Promotion agree to the use of their names, pictures, or videos on social media and other media platforms by Misan. 


12. Governing Law 

  1. Misan reserves the right to cancel the Promotion or amend these Terms, without prior notice. 

  2. The Promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by Nigerian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
